Fault Indicators
Recently the Electric Department purchased and installed Fault Indicators on several portions of the Electric Distribution Lines. The Fault Indicators will help the Lineman locate issues with in the City’s Electrical System. Please review the following FAQ section for additional information.

Q:Where are the Fault Indicators installed at?
A:Duquesne Street, Beverly Drive, Fairfield School Road and Fairfield Avenue
Q:How do I know if I need to report a detected fault?
A:The Fault Indicators will flash red (as shown in the picture above) or amber. If no fault is detected, the Fault Indicators will not be illuminated.
Q:How long will a Fault Indicator flash to indicate a fault has been detected?
A:8 hours. Then they reset.
Q:What do I need to do if I notice a Fault Indicator flashing?
A:If between 8am and 4pm Monday – Friday, please call the City Office at 330-482-2173. If after hours, on a weekend or a holiday please contact the Police Department Communications Center at 330-482-9292.
