On February 4, 2012, the Columbiana PTO will be holding their second annual Gala. The theme of this year’s Gala is “A Night In Las Vegas” and promises to provide dancing, hors d’oeuvres and an adult night full of fun at The Lake Club in Poland, OH with 300 members of the community in attendance. Large and small raffles, live and silent auctions and gaming for fun will make way for a fun and enjoyable evening while supporting the children of the Columbiana Exempted Village School District. The Columbiana PTO hopes to provide financial support for the $5.5 million dollar (at no cost to taxpayers) improvement and renovation project currently underway at Joshua Dixon Elementary School. The active and supportive members of this parent-teacher organization want to assist in alleviating the burden of yearly fundraising on local families. The Columbiana PTO Gala will raise vital funds to support our teachers and students with updated teaching tools, equipment, technology and supplies.
